Matt Leblanc Fusion. Photo Competition

On September 29th I had the pleasure of participating in Matt Leblanc's Fusion show. This year Matt included photo competition among few local photographers in the show.
The goal of the competition was to photograph Matt's artwork and show its relationship with environment.

The idea behind my image was to incorporate bodyscape into Matt's surreal landscape. Curves of woman's body reminded me of sand dunes and I added warmth to lighting to give it moody sunset look.
I like the conflict between soft lines of the body and harsh brush strokes of the artwork.

Here is a 2nd place winner:

Here is second version of the same idea. But I ended up not picking as my submission because it's more obvious and less about the artwork.

New Home of Kravetz Photographics.

I'm very excited to announce that Kravetz Photographics found a new home. We are now a studio-based studio and it's located in heart of downtown Moncton right across from City Hall.

Less than a year ago Denis Duquette offered me to share his studio with him and I was a bit hesitant.  But few things improved over the time, I started to do more studio work, my commercial cliental grew substantially, so studio space in prime location became a must for my portrait work.

It's been almost one month since I moved into Denis's studio, and I can safely say that it's been working great for both of us and I'm looking forward to many shoots in this studio.

More to come!
